COVID-19 and NZIML Update March 2020
As of today, like many of you we are working to establish a new normal. As the government and business community increases their efforts to reduce the spreading of COVID-19 we have established additional procedures to ensure we too are playing our part.
Our priority is people and we will be taking precautionary steps to ensure our people and the wider NZIML community are safe and feel supported.
The first step we have taken is to continue with services delivered from Leadership House based in Christchurch. These programmes will run with a limited number of participants in each room and we are fortunate to have individual room ventilation and air-conditioning, providing us with full control over our environment and hygiene practices.
We will not host our large-scale events such as SkillSHARE or our Women Leading Summit until later in 2020.
All programmes delivered in Auckland, Wellington, Nelson and Dunedin will be postponed. Timing on a replacement to postponed dates will come over the next few days and weeks as we gain further clarity on what is ahead of us.
We appreciate that you will also be working through challenges in your own business, many of us face unknown and unprecedented times, please know, our team are ready and willing to support in any way we can. We are remaining office bound at this stage, our small but mighty team feel we are safe to do so, and we are enjoying the normalisation of coming together.
This information is valid through to the 31st March 2020, when again, we will be guided by the Ministry of Health.
Thank you for your valued support, we know the future is bright, it’s just a matter of everyone doing their part.
